This video is our travel guide to Krabi Thailand. In this video we show you things to do, what to eat and positions to stay. It is a gorgeous place for solo travellers, couples and families.
WHAT TO DO: 1. Take a boat trip to see the Islands You can take a speed boat or long tail boat trip. Believe limestone cliffs, white sand beaches and clear green water. These are some of the most stunning beaches on the planet. Make sure you go to Phi Phi Islands and Hong Island. Phi Phi island was made popular by the film The beach. You have to go to these beaches!
2. Check out an ethical elephant sanctuary This was such a remarkable experience for our family. Elephant sanctuaries are places for elephants that have actually been rescued from either the tourist trade or were work elephants. Here you get to feed, shower and stroll with the elephants. This is an experience of a life time!
3. Emerald Pool Emerald Swimming pool is a natural marvel of spectacular crystal clear emerald water in the middle of the jungle situated in Thung Teao Forest National Park. You need to experience this swimming pool in the middle of the jungle!
4. Krabi Hot Springs Klong Thom Warm spring are natural 'hot tubs' from volcanic springs in the middle of the jungle. They are said to have healing residential or commercial properties and are definitely worth a see.
5. Tiger Cavern Temple Was found in 1975 when a Monk went to meditate in a cavern and he was stated to have seen tigers. You can participate in a blessing ceremony and also climb 1237 actions to the top of a mountain for an amazing view. Beware of the monkeys!
6. Huay Tho Waterfall This waterfall is a concealed gem with a relatively short easy hike to 5 cascading waterfalls with swimming pools at the bottom you can swim in.
7. Ao Nang This is among the primary towns and it has a number of stunning beaches, lots of shopping, restaurants, massage locations, coffee and night life. Lots to do here!
8. Lodgings There are a lot of nice places to stay in Krabi. We typically select to remain at airbnb's but the prices for lovely resorts that have a pool and typically include breakfast, are relatively affordable. We liked Pelican Resort south of Ao Nang.
9. What to Consume We liked Pad Thai which is super inexpensive in many places. There are lots of smaller household owned street food places that were incredible. We also loved our favorite smoothie location called Fresh Your Day.
10. Thailand Beaches! The beaches in Krabi are a few of the most stunning in the world. Some you get to by boat on Hong Island and Phi Phi island. On the mainland there are beaches in Ao Nang, Tub Kaak beach and Long Muang all distinct and worth a stop.

Some things we didn't get to do but should be high on your list are: 11. Go To Krabi Town Known for local markets, Krabi river and a lovely temple.
12. Take a ferry to Koh lanta which is a gorgeous island south of krabi. 13. Ensure you delight in an amazing sundown and fire dance/performance on the beach.
