Royal Caribbean Cruises with Meissner Cruise & Travel St. Cloud FL is our St. Cloud FL Business Spotlight this month. Jeanine had the pleasure of interviewing their strategic account manager Susan Prinzing. Also featured in this travel theme episode is Linda Meissner, owner of Meissner Cruise & Travel in Saint Cloud Florida.
Jeanine started the interview by asking Susan what’s new from Royal Caribbean. Susan said that there are so many new and exciting things happening at Royal Caribbean. She stated that when she thinks of Royal Caribbean, innovation comes to mind as well as excitement and energy. Susan continued that people just feel good on our ships.
Susan said that they are blowing the roof off ship design. Icon of the Seas is coming out in January 2024. It will be a 7-day cruise product out of Miami. The ship will have 3 different itineraries. Two to the Eastern Caribbean and one to the Western Caribbean.
This ship will have 7 pools, entertainment and they will be incorporating technology into the latest set designs and light projection and LED screens. There will be water shows and divers and synchronized swimmers combined with the artistry and athleticism of the water shows and ice-skating shows. The live entertainment will be off the charts.
Royal Caribbean is known for its entertainment. We have the jazz club and the dueling pianos and the piano bar where you want to sing along. The energy is incredible because of the access to live music.
The Icon of the Seas that’s coming out is a new class of ship. It has been about 10 years since a new class of ship was introduced. It is going to be the largest ship in the world.
Susan stated that in July, Royal Caribbean will introduce the Utopia of The Seas. That ship will be right out of Port Canaveral and will be a short Caribbean 3-day cruise product. Constant and consistent innovation is what Royal Caribbean is all about.
Jeanine asked Susan what makes Royal Caribbean’s private islands so unique? Our private island has won incredible awards because when you think of a private island you think of your own personal oasis. Royal Caribbean delivers that experience. We take that private experience to a whole other level and deliver it with elegance.
Jeanine then transitioned to asking Linda Meissner, owner of Meissner Cruise & Travel in Saint Cloud Florida what would she say to someone who wasn’t sure they would like to go on a cruise? Linda replied that there are a lot of options for Royal Caribbean.
People could try right out of Port Canaveral a 3- or 4-night cruise and get their feet wet. They would have the opportunity to try all of the restaurants, the pools, mini golf and of course the entertainment. There are so many options where there is something for everyone. Once people have had a chance to experience the shorter cruises, they can come back and book a longer cruise.
Jeanine then asked how would you describe a Royal Caribbean cruise to someone who has never taken a cruise before? Susan answered and said what Royal Caribbean does is very intentional. They take all of the favorite things people like to do on land and integrate those on the ship for people to experience at sea.
