Back-to-back cruising with a difference… and we didn’t even plan it that way. Let’s talk about our upcoming river cruise followed by a Cunard sea cruise.
First, we’re heading off on our FIRST ever River Cruise with Viva Cruises aboard the Viva Enjoy, sailing the Danube from Nuremberg to Budapest. We’ll be visiting Regensburg, Passau, Melk, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest – with food and drinks included!
Then, with only ONE day in between, we’re heading straight to Southampton for a 7-night Norwegian Fjords cruise on Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne. We’ll be visiting Stavanger, Skjolden, Alesund and Haugesund, with scenic fjord cruising along the way.
This wasn’t meant to become a back-to-back cruise challenge, but now we’ll get to compare two completely different cruise experiences – River Cruise vs Ocean Cruise!
Which will we prefer? Will our first river cruise surprise us? And can an inside cabin on Queen Anne win us over?
