KRABI, THAILAND (กระบม่) - Welcome to Krabi, one of the most beautiful provinces in Southern Thailand. Krabi is known for its amazing islands, and you can take a day trip just off the coast of Ao Nang to see some of the spectacular islands, and go snorkeling, and swimming. Today we’re going on a family long-tail boat trip and I’ll share the details and tips with you. #Krabi #Thailand #beach

We took a relatively short day trip, there are other islands you can visit, but we mainly went to a few of the close islands - really good for a family day trip, or if you have kids.

Thale Waek - First beach we went to, and there is a 400 THB ($12.68) entrance fee as it’s a Thailand national park. The beach is very nice and quite unique with its sand bars. But I liked the snorkeling even better around the side of the island.

Chicken Rock - One of the famous small islands off the coast of Krabi is Koh Gai, or chicken rock island. Mostly you just sail past it and get a nice view.

Koh Poda - Finally, on this island hopping tour in Krabi, we went to Koh Poda, a wonderful island with great beaches. This is where we had lunch and it’s a popular place to hang out, relax, and swim.

Total Price - 2,000 THB ($63.41) for the entire boat, and if you can get a few more people to join, it would be more affordable. We just arranged our boat directly from the official kiosk at Khlong Haeng.
