Spending a day island hopping in Palawan, Philippines is a must in 2023. It's an amazing day where you can see hidden beaches, breathtaking lagoons, lakes and the icing on the cake? Snorkelling with turtles 🤩. This is by far one of the best tours in Coron, Palawan.
What makes it the best tour in Coron? By booking a private tour around Palawan we were able to arrive at all the best places either before anyone else arrived, or after they'd left. It was a custom trip made perfect for us 🙌🏼. It is absolutely the best thing you can do in Coron ❤️
Although our guide tried his best to get us to all the amazing locations when the fewest people would be there it didn't work perfectly every time. We still had incredible experiences kayaking alone in Green Lagoon, and had Kayangan Lake almost completely to ourselves at the end of the day. If you have some extra cash then a private tour around Palawan is definitely the best option. Some places will still be busy, but having those few to yourself is what makes it worth every penny 🫶🏼.
Our tour started at Barracuda Lake before making our way to the famous and beautiful Twin Lagoon. From there we visited Banul Beach, CYC Beach, Green Lagoon (Which is where we saw the turtle 🐢) and then finished our amazing 1-day island hopping tour of Palawan at Kayangan Lake 😍.
Before the tour started our guide, Gilbert (his channel and Insta can be found below) took us to a local market where we bought the food we wanted for lunch, which he and the crew then cooked for us on the boat. It always blows my mind when the food comes out and it has been cooked in some tiny kitchen on a boat, but it all tasted amazing 🤤. We ate at Banul Beach after swimming and enjoying the beautiful blue water there...we had to rub our eyes to check what we were seeing was real 🤩.
A private tour is obviously more expensive than a group tour, but we can honestly say it's the best way to go island hopping in Coron 🙌🏼
The beaches in Palawan have blown us away so far 🤯. This tour got us incredibly excited about other places we will be island hopping in the Philippines. The water is crystal clear and has the most beautiful shades of blues and greens, it's been spectacular! The Philippines is quickly becoming one of our favourite countries in all of South East Asia 🙌🏼.
