We explored one of the most beautiful cave diving locations we’ve ever seen: a glowing cyan blue hole hidden deep in the jungle of Muna Island, Indonesia.
In this episode of the Caves of Sulawesi expedition, we dive Moko Morete: a stunning tropical sinkhole connected to an underwater cave system believed to reach the sea. Crystal clear water, powerful underground currents, haloclines, massive passages, and unexplained underwater life make this one of the wildest cave dives of the expedition so far.
But while the entrance looks like paradise, the cave itself quickly becomes serious. Strong flow and low visibility in the halocline can turn this dive into a real challenge.
