St. Cloud FL Events For Summer 2022 are provided by Jeanine Corcoran broker for The Corcoran Connection. Jeanine is joined by her co-host Kristin Macari owner of Studio Nine 13. This is the 20th episode of Discover St. Cloud Florida.

Kristin asked Jeanine what events are happening in St. Cloud this summer? Jeanine said there are a number of events on the calendar as of today, but she does anticipate more being added as school is now ending.

The first event Jeanine mentioned is the Summer’s Kid Flick which will start on Tuesday, June 14th at the St. Cloud Community Center. Kids aged 12 and under will be admitted for free. The first movie on the 14th will be “Luca” and start at 10:30am. Kristin then added that on Tuesday, June 21st the feature film will be “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and then on the 28th of June, the movie will be “Raya And The Last Dragon”. Parents must be there with their kids.

Jeanine said the next summer event will be a dinner cruise for the adults to enjoy. It will happen on Friday, June 17th from 7:00 – 10:30 PM although you have to arrive at 7:00 for the cruise. The price is $50 per person. Jeanine stated she was bummed as they will be out of town and miss the dinner cruise.

Kristin said she will miss the dinner cruise as well as they will be out of town traveling to the US Regional President’s Cup in Texas. The St. Cloud Girls’ Soccer U19 Team has qualified to play in this exclusive tournament. The dates of the tournament are June 14th – 19th.

Kristin went on to say this is a big deal for these girls. St. Cloud is a small town, and we have a small soccer club. A lot of the teams they will be playing have girls on scholarship and it’s expensive. The St. Cloud girls’ soccer team won the Florida President’s Cup. They battled some top-tier teams on their way to victory.

They are a U19 team which means that every girl on the team roster should be 19 or under. A lot of the teams that they played consisted of rosters that are all seniors. In comparison, the St. Cloud team has a range of ages and even has a couple of freshmen.

It’s going to cost approximately $30K to get the team there and we have fundraising going on in the community. Jeanine herself is supporting the team and wrote a check to help get them to Texas.

Kristin mentioned the next event which will take place on Sunday, June 19th. The event is called Juneteenth Movie in the Park. You can bring your whole family for the evening and don’t forget your blankets and chairs. Jeanine said they did mention food, but she doesn’t know whether that is food trucks or not. It will be from 7:30 – 10:00 PM and be held at Hopkin’s Park at 620 E. 17th Street in St. Cloud.

June is men’s health month so the next event will be “Learn How To Stay Healthy” held on Wednesday, June 22nd from 11 – 1 PM at the Marina Bouquet Hall. Admission will be just $1.00 per person.

Kristin brought up the “Monthly Market” held in downtown St. Cloud on the last Wednesday of every month. So, for May, that date will be Wednesday, May 25th. The monthly market for June and July will be for the “young entrepreneurs” where the only vendors allowed will be those who are aged 21 years old or younger.

We hope you enjoyed Jeanine and Kristin walking you through the St. Cloud FL events for Summer 2022. We want to keep you up to date with the amazing events and places to visit and enjoy in Saint Cloud.
