When I first started working from home in 2020, I really enjoyed it. As an introvert, I liked not having to devote energy towards socializing, attending office parties etc. Fast forward two years and funnily enough, something felt "missing" in my life. I felt like I was working alone and missed the connection I had with my colleagues. This trip marks the first time I saw my colleagues in person since the pandemic. I loved the small talk, the "hey wanna get coffee" after lunch, and the ease of dropping by people's desks to ask ~quick questions~. All these little things have made such a big difference in making me feel connected and happy coming to work everyday.
