Dennis, Shawn and I went expecting a limit and got slapped down with dirty water everywhere we went. Can’t get them every trip! Sad part I’m thinking could’ve caught more at the Causeway that’s sad. Dirty water everywhere we went but we did catch fish in dirty water last week. But from what I’ve learned the trout want clean salty water closer they get to spawn. The water wasn’t salty at all every where we went I tasted it. Mardi Gras pass is killing out summer time fishing but it’s building land 🤨.But all in all good day out there but my body is whipped from the waves this morning.
