We arrive at the Turkish port town of Bodrum which is a gateway to exploring the Greek Islands. We board our ferry and head to Kos where we will spend a couple of days exploring the second most populated island of the Dodecanese after Rhodes. Kos has many beautiful beaches and its old town is a great place to base yourself from. Kos town has so much history dating back thousands of years. Here you can explore the Ancient Greek Agora, Roman Odeon, Nerantzia Castle, Plane tree of Hippocrates and the Asclepeion of Kos.

From Kos we make our way to Kalymnos for a couple of days and stay at Spongia apartments in Pothia which would easily boast having the best views on the whole island. Kalymnos is known for its sponge diving and today is regarded as the second most popular place in the world for the sport of rock climbing. Kalymnos is less touristy and is our favourite place to just unwind, relax and enjoy some of the best traditional Greek seafood in all of Greece at Fountagio Tavern. We meet the last pioneer of sponge diving, Antonis, and discover the different type of sponges and what they are used for.
