Thailand Island Hopping did not disappoint! We spent a full day out at sea on a private boat and explored all the beautiful islands in Phang Nga Bay. Since beginning our time in Southeast Asia, Island Hopping has been one of our favorite things to do! It is a great chance to sit back, relax, and take in the stunning beauty of Ao Phang Nga National Park. From limestone cliffs to mangrove forests, there is so much to see as you float between the small islands.
The Hong Islands tour is one of the two main boat tours that depart from the Krabi area. The Hong Islands tour brings you to Pakbia Island, Lading Island, Hong Lagoon, Hong Island and Dang Island. On Hong Island you are able to venture up a walk-way that brings you to a 360° viewpoint of the bay below you. The other option is the Four Island Railay Bay Tour, however you are able to visit many of these islands with ferries that run frequently between the islands. Both of these tours have both Long Tail Boat and Speedboat options. The Long Tail is significantly cheaper, but you also spend more time traveling from island to island (though this is part of the fun). The Speedboat is more expensive but it travels much faster so you get to spend more time on the Islands.
