The BEST way to explore Croatia is from a boat, which is apparent by all of the boat tours that are offered at the port in Split, Croatia. But how do you choose the best one? What if I told you there is ONLY ONE boat tour that you NEED to book? Are you interested?
I knew that during my time in Croatia, I wanted to take a boat tour to some of the amazing islands that Croatia has to offer. After a lot of research, I settled on booked with the boat Polaris (https://polarissplit.com/). I joined a Croatia facebook group, which I highly recommend to everyone if you are planning a trip to Croatia (https://www.facebook.com/groups/319746333078610), and a lot of past tourists and LOCALS recommended that I book with Polaris and I was NOT disappointed! This was hands down the BEST EXCURSION that you can do while in Split!
My sailing trip included a stop at a bay off the island of Brač to snorkel and swim. After we spent our morning in the water, we sailed to the island of Šolta. During our sail we ate lunch, where we had the option of meat, fish or vegetarian. The boat is all inclusive, which means ALL drinks are included, including alcoholic beverages. Once we stopped in Šolta, we had a couple hours of free time to do as we pleased!
If you are looking for a day trip to experience Croatia's beautiful waters and islands, I would look no further than with Polaris. The boat is well maintained, the crew were extremely friendly and helpful and we were the only boat at our two stops, which was nice. I enjoyed spending time at islands that are not over ran by tourists.
